Enclave Press sets works that are free to copy for the Ledger Flex. The book installs onto the device from this page, over the cable, and then it is on the device: every page, three sizes of type, a bookmark that survives the power going off.
No account, no connection, no fee, and nothing to buy afterwards. You keep an e-ink reader you already own and did not know you had.

What is this, exactly?
An app for a Ledger Flex with a book inside it. You install it from this site over the cable. After that the device reads the book with nothing plugged in and nothing running on your computer.
What does it cost?
Nothing, and there is no later step that costs something. The texts are free to copy and the press does not own them.
Do I need a Ledger, and which one?
A Ledger Flex. You read on the device's own screen, so a Nano is too small, and the Stax is not built for yet: the page checks which device it is talking to and refuses rather than writing the wrong thing.
We are not Ledger and have nothing to do with them.
My device asks to allow an unknown source. Should I?
Read the screen, then decide. That prompt is your device telling you the truth: this app is not in Ledger's catalogue and was never submitted to it, so nobody has checked it but us.
It is the same prompt a dishonest page would want you to tap through without looking. If you would rather not, do not. The book is not worth overriding your own judgement for.
Can this touch my coins?
The reader makes no keys, asks for no derivation path, never sees your recovery phrase and has no network. It draws text on a screen.
Installing any app is a write to the device, which is why it asks for your PIN: that authorises the write, it does not hand anything over. Your accounts and your phrase are untouched by it, and removing the app leaves nothing behind.
Which browser?
Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera, on a desktop. Firefox and Safari have no WebHID, so they cannot hold the cable at all. Nothing works from a phone.
Quit Ledger Live first. Only one program may hold the cable, and this is the commonest way the install fails.
Is anything sent anywhere?
No. The page fetches the book from this site and writes it down the cable. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no server that hears from your device, before the install or after it.
How long does it take, and can I stop it?
About a minute. You can stop it, and then you have to start again from the beginning rather than from where it stopped: a part-written app is not a working one.
How do I remove it?
From My Ledger in Ledger Live, the way you remove any app. Or come back here and install it again, which removes the old one first.
Removing the book loses your place in it. That is the only thing it loses.
Is this DRM? Is it a token?
Neither. Nothing is locked, so there is nothing to unlock, and there is no token, no contract and no wallet involved anywhere.
That includes the whitepaper in the collection: it is a text like any other here, and reading it on a Ledger touches the thing it describes exactly as much as reading it on paper does.
What if Enclave Press disappears?
The book keeps working. It is on your device, not on a server here, and it never asks this site for anything again.
